Hi,
I am a Dutch nursing student studying in the Netherlands.
After graduation I would like to work in the USA.
Are there any Dutch nurses (trained in the Netherlands) who have made it through the NCLEX and are working in the States ? Any advice would be greatly appreciated. :)
If there are any Dutch nurses out there who have gone through the process of getting to the States: I would love to get in contact with you.
Greetings from Amsterdam,
Dutch

Welcome...........take a look at the sticky that is posted at the top of this international forum and it will give you most of the information that you need.
You need to actually finish your nursing program before you can started with any of the processing as everything requires a set of your completed transcripts.
Please let me know if you have any more questions............... :balloons:

Hello Dutch Nurse.
I have no information on your question, but My Fiance and I are considering Amsterdam as a Honeymoon destination.... We are in Florida. Research I have done indicates it is cold there most of the year. when is the best time to go? What are the names of your upscale Hotels? Any other info you can share will be great.
Thanks
Monica

I can't really help you with your request but I just wanted to tell you good luck with the process. I'm from Belgium and I had my training in my country. Right now, I live in California and I'm waiting to pass the NCLEX-RN. Where in the USA would you like to work? Here, in the state, there is a lot of opportunities (nursing shortage!!!).
If you have other questions, I'll try to be a better help...
