Hello everyone, I just recently applied to Durham Tech's Fall 2018 ADN program in November 2017. I have fulfilled all the pre-reqs and after attending the last 2 pre-nursing sessions, I found out that the cut-off points for both 2016 and 2017 was 35. I guess it depends on how many applicants they are getting. I am nervous but hopefully I get in. Anyone else applying?
I still haven't received an e-mail other than the one I received confirming receipt of my application and the # of points I was awarded.
For folks who still haven't heard anything, how many points did you have?
For folks who have been accepted, congratulations! Also, how many points did you have?
Maybe I should call tomorrow. I'm going to make myself sick over this.
Naclydurhamama, I had 43 points without pathophysiology (which I'm currently taking now). Which program did you apply to? It seems like mostly LPN-ADM program students received an email, while those of us who applied to the ADN program are still waiting..and waiting...
I guess they really are gonna wait til the end of the month :-/

I applied to the ADN program with 47 points. I'm also currently enrolled in pathophysiology.
Patience is a virtue. Patience is a virtue. Patience is....not easy.
I had Dr. Suris-Swartz for Patho and I got a B in her class. She was good. I have 38 points because I have a C in Bio 168. If I had a B it would 42 points but hopefully we all should get good news. A C in Anatomy and Physiology I should not derail my chances especially since I did well in everything else, right?

Who did you have for 168? I had Dr. White. I don't think it should derail your chances. If you did well in your other classes, along with a decent score on the TEAS, you should be just fine!

I know how you feel. I sent my ADN application on the first day it was opened online November 1,2017. Like I have 38 points but it's including 5 points for the residency. Good luck to us still waiting....
