  1. BlueGirl17, sorry to hear that :-( I'm glad you have a back up plan! Your experience will definitely help. Keep us posted. I know you will get into a program. What was the point cutoff? Orientation is August 9th.
  2. Hey BlueGirl17, any updates?
  3. Did DT give you a number for the waiting list? I'd imagine that there would be a few who declined a seat. Some in my AP II class had DT as a back up to their BSN school of choice. You're absolutely right, whether it's DT or Watts, RN is the end goal! Good luck!!
  4. Hey BlueGirl17, hang in there! Pulling for you to get an acceptance letter. Also, thanks for creating this thread. The waiting game is brutal, but it was helpful to go through it with others.
  5. Anyone else get an email? I got accepted!!
  6. Who did you have for 168? I had Dr. White. I don't think it should derail your chances. If you did well in your other classes, along with a decent score on the TEAS, you should be just fine!
  7. A friend of mine emailed Donna, she was told we will get emails either today or tomorrow. That makes sense, since Friday is a holiday lol. The waiting game is almost over! Who do you have for Patho? I have Dr. Suris-Swartz.
  8. Naclydurhamama, I had 43 points without pathophysiology (which I'm currently taking now). Which program did you apply to? It seems like mostly LPN-ADM program students received an email, while those of us who applied to the ADN program are still waiting..and waiting... I guess they really are gonna wait til the end of the month :-/
  9. Lol-the excitement you have to see you have a new message in your DT inbox, only to find out its a spring fling or some job fair email lol
  10. Congratulations!!!!
  11. ...I guess today is not the day....í ½í¸”í ¾í´¯
  12. Hey, no, I didn't graduate from the LPN program, applying for the ADN, yet, i see we are all being driven mad from waiting! I hope we all get good news tomorrow! All good things come to those who wait, is always true, right? Good luck!
  13. I'm still waiting for my decision letter, but I am currently experiencing some anxiety as well. Being a stay at home dad for the last few years, I've been with my sons (3yr and 1yr), for their entire lives. I took most of my classes online or at night, so I've never been away from them for a long period of time. I know all of this will change soon, and while I know it's for a good reason, doesn't mean that I'm not sad about it. Change is difficult, but it's life. If this has always been your goal, you owe it to yourself to see it through. Once you start, I'm sure everything will adjust and you will find a new "normal." Don't beat yourself up about not being excited, everyone reacts differently to situations. Just wanted to let you know you aren't the only one! Good luck!
