You should get a card shortly --- instructor has to submit roster to the CTC and they will issue the card either by getting them back to instructor for distribution or mailing it directly to you.
If you don't get it shortly contact the instructor (or place where you took the course) and ask.
Like everyone is saying you should have received a card right after class. But I have seen some places where they mail out the cards. My work gives us the cards right after we are done with the class. I have taken BLS, ACLS, and PALS though my work and have received a card each time. I have also taken ACLS and PALS through Air Evac and they sent us our cards through the mail to whatever address we gave them. It normally took less than a week. Good choice with AHA since they are becoming the preferred choice for hospitals.

As part of the requirements for the nursing program I am entering I have to be CPR certified. I signed up for and took the class about a month ago. AHA CPR for health care providers. Everything went fine.
My question is, what do I need for proof that I completed the class? I didn't get a card or anything when I finished the class.
