Duke New Grad July 2017!

Hey Y'all,

I am moving to Durham to start my career in the OR at Duke University Hospital in July from San Francisco, California! Wanting to see if there is any else on here that will be heading to Duke in July (doesn't have to be OR.) And for NC or Duke locals/veterans/nurses any advice or insights into Duke as we transition into the profession!

I'm starting in September on the GI surgical step down unit! I am moving to Durham too from out of state!

When did everyone apply to start in July? Also does anyone know if they take only new grads for the OR program or can you have some nursing experience? Thanks!

I applied in January to start in July. I don't know much about the OR program but I think I heard they offer it to experienced and inexperienced nurses.
