Duke MSN WHNP Spring 2020

Hi all! I've just submitted my application to dukes MSN WHNP program for the spring and was wondering If anyone else out there applied or is currently enrolled!

Oh my. I’m heartbroken for you! I know we all put our hearts on the line with applying. It is BRAVE.

What specialty were you applying for?

It was an email? Did your status change on SISS?

I too have applied for the Spring 2020 WHNP program, but the post-graduate certificate as I am currently working on my FNP (hopefully done this October). My application still says "under faculty review". I haven't received any emails since they emailed me on 6/17 to tell me that my "packet is faculty review now!". Very anxious. I

*My application had said "under faculty review" for a while before the email I received on 6/17 ... so I was a bit confused. Have not heard anything since 6/17 and it still says "under faculty review"

?I just want to know... and to think if we do get an interview we have to wait to hear even more after that! I had thought everyone got an interview, but I guess this is not the case?

I am not super hopeful as my background is ER and I am finishing my FNP now... but I am really wanting to specialize in women and make the shift out of the ER into women’s health!

I am in a FNP program now and will graduate in October and take FNP boards at the end of November. I applied for the post-masters WHNP program so that I can further specialize and be board certified in both in order to expand my scope of practice.

Oh my gosh! Exciting news! I haven’t heard anything yet - still under review.

Was this the first email correspondence you had? I’ve never gotten an email about anything - only ever see status change on SISS...maybe I’ll check my junk folders!!

Got an email for an interview as well! This is the first email I've gotten from them, kate. Mine is for the NNP, it may be different based in the specialty. And nothing has changed in the SISS. I'm nervous now!
