Hi all! I've just submitted my application to dukes MSN WHNP program for the spring and was wondering If anyone else out there applied or is currently enrolled!

Awesome! I was under the impression that we wouldn't hear anything until after the deadline, but from an email I got made it sound more like a rolling admission. I emailed back to ask and havent heard anything.

Hi! I submitted my application for FNP in April, but my final recommendation wasn’t completed until this past week. ?

Not sure how it works for other programs, but the email I received said late applications would only be considered on a space available basis. For that reason, I’m not feeling hopeful considering the competitiveness of the FNP program. I did notice the status changed to “Under faculty review.” Not sure if that’s generalized to everyone with applications, or if my application is actually being reviewed. I only say that because I started an application in the past (never submitted) and the status still changed during their selection process. ??‍♀️Best of luck to you both??. I’ll check back in if I receive anymore updates. ?

I submitted May 1. Status still says “ready for review”. I’m sure they just take them one at a time, and surely the specialties are reviewed separately...so on different timelines.

I plan on not hearing anything until September! That way I’ll be pleasantly surprised if we hear something sooner!

I thought the deadline for the spring was December 1st! Didnt realize it was May 1st. I was told the same thing that they would review my application if there was available space. If not I'm just going to see If my application can roll over for fall 2020.

The deadlines for the FNP program for spring cohorts are May 1st and the fall cohorts are Dec 1st. I’m not sure if other programs have the same deadlines or not.

Oh yes, I’m sure we’re on different timelines. I wish other applicants saw this post so that we could compare more appropriately.

I’m being realistic and not getting my hopes up. If I don’t hear anything by August, then I’ll start completing applications for fall 2020 cohorts.

My application switched from “ready for review” to “under faculty review” today!

Hey yall! I applied on May 1st to the MSN/NNP program, my status switched to "under faculty review" a few weeks ago. I know someone who started this past spring who said she heard nothing until July regarding an interview, and then a final decision wasn't made for several weeks. Pretty nerve wracking, good luck to all of you!

I applied for the NNP program and my status changed from "ready to review" to "under faculty review" last week. Have you guys heard anything else? This is so nerve wracking?

I was told they would be sending out interview invitations at the end of the month and the beginning of next month.
