Duke BSN-DNP Spring 2022

Hey all,

Has anyone else applied to the Duke BSN-DNP Spring 2022 entry?? I've never been so anxious for school applications in my life!

Sounds like yours went so well! I wish mine did LOL. My interviewer was extremely neutral and didn't really want to deviate from the standard 5 questions. She was very nice but could not get any sort of read. Fingers super crossed for both of us, this wait is killing me ;_;

I’m sure you did well—my interviewer stated at the beginning that she was interviewing me cold. Like she knew nothing about me. So I think they’re just checking to see if we can come up with good examples/are normal people hahaha.

Also, update, my application now says under committee review!

YES I GOT IN! I just woke up from night shift and the email asked me to sign into the portal and I panicked thinking oh god I got rejected, why didn’t they just say it in the email. AHHHHH YAAAAY! So happy for us ???

I was driving home from work when I saw it. I'm like ughhhh noooo then opened and had a great end of my day! Congrats for getting in!!!

I know it is a wee bit late to be asking this but my anxiety is now in full blast—this program is completely online and doesn’t require you to relocate correct? I know there are a couple on campus things every few months but everything else is online right? Put my dumb brain at ease ? Im worried I misunderstood LOL

LOL you're all good. It's all online with the exception of a few on-campus things, which I think are mostly skills check-offs or special events. No relocating necessary though!

Im so thankful for you lmao. I am trying to sleep for my shift tonight but then doubt snuck in and made me so worried hahahahaha

Do you think you’ll be taking this position? Or are you waiting on other schools?

Hey all! I just found out I got into the DNP FP program for the Spring! 

I was just wondering...are we able to switch to the MSN program? The $160K tuition might not be workable for me at this point

You can take a gap after the MSN, that's what I'm doing. I'm already pretty deep in debt ;_;

I'm going to take it. It's been my dream since middle school LOL Just need to figure out financial aid and hope that I get funding and scholarships! How about you?
