Hey all,

Has anyone else applied to the Duke BSN-DNP Spring 2022 entry?? I've never been so anxious for school applications in my life!

I applied! I submitted 5/1 and the next day it said "Under Faculty Review." Judging from other threads from past years it takes about two months for interview invitations to go out. Anxiously waiting for status changes...

Fingers super crossed! I've been looking up potential interview questions to make sure I'm ready. Ridiculously nervous but I heard the interviews aren't bad at all.

There is a thread from last year Spring Duke DNP on here that was pretty helpful—you may have already found it LOL apparently it is like a job interview. Talk about how you handled a difficult experience etc!

I've been looking like mad! I'm a director of nursing and professional counselor, I made judgment decisions all day/every day but when I practice answering questions, I can't think of anything I do ?. Good luck this week or next week!! Let me know how it goes, my fingers are crossed for you

I DID IT. It went okay I think, I was not expecting some of the questions but was thankfully able to think of examples ? Have you had yours yet??

I did! Was able to answer all the questions thankfully but rambled a bit ? hoping that doesn't count too harshly against me ? 6-8 weeks can't come soon enough! At least it's over LOL

I was interviewed by the assistant director of nursing and she was so lovely and comforting—she made it seem like I was already in? She was talking about how we should think about my case study and that the example I gave to my question would be excellent. She may just be wonderful and personable tho and maybe didn’t mean to make it sound like I was in LOL. But I’m telling myself not enough people want to be a Psych NP and hopefully you and I will be classmates! ?
