Hello everyone! Has anyone else applied to the AGNP program at Duke for the Spring 2017? I think I am more nervous applying to grad school than I was when I sat for my NCLEX!

I didn't get mine and my interview is Thursday morning. Calling tomorrow if I don't get it. Good luck!

I'm very nervous as well! I am applying for the FNP Oncology specialty...I'm just anxious something will go wrong with the connection, or I'll fumble my words:yes:

the link for the video conference was emailed to me this morning! check your inbox and good luck!

I'm so nervous for my interview tomorrow! I hope your interviews went well :-)

tinamayrn you will do great! It's over before you know it! I wish I would have asked when they are planning on posting admission decisions, I forgot. Good luck you got this ;)

I asked when I interviewed and she said SEPTEMBER, but I don't think that can be right because the application date for specific scholarship stuff is in August...?

Hi muzik6759 ...I can't believe it September??....wow that would be so long to wait. What is weird is when I called about interviews the person at admissions said that typically they make a decision about 2 weeks after interviews are complete. That is what I was hoping for. You are right the scholarship info says August... I hope they send out a revised timeline once all the interviews are complete so we can have an idea of when admissions will be offered.

Joining the conversation late, I was accepted and interviewed today. I was told it would likely be mid August for decisions to be made. I applied for AGNP- HIV/HCV...any others? The waiting begins

You really expect them to know traffic patterns in various cities? We are all aware of the tuition, many schools are in this price range and many do not offer specialties. What school do you recommend? What options are out there? Anything of substance to sway ones opinion? You don't have many posts behind you and look like you joined recently.

Welcome to the club DesertRN! I am applying for FNP - HIV/AIDS. So we would at least have those in common!

I suspect it will be August as well, given that the interviews should all be completed now, at least the first round. I can't IMAGINE that they'd make us wait til September!!!
