Duke ABSN Fall 2015

Hi All,

Just wanted to get a thread going for those who are applying to the Fall 2015 ABSN program. What are some of your degrees in? Is anyone applying to other schools? Also, is anyone planning on moving to North Carolina to attend?

Katiemate24, I have until May 12 to decide on the offer. I was offered a need-based scholarship that would put my out-of-pocket at about $50k. Much better aid than I expected. I was accepted at MGH as well for an AGACNP program so I'm hoping i get that financial aid email before May 12.... Some tough decisions coming up.

Would you mind adding me? My name is Brianna Casciello. The group appears as you noted above, but the search only results is a closed general Duke group for which you need a Duke email address. Much appreciated!

BriAllene, I think you need to actually be a student to join. Hence having the Duke email address. I will try to find out for sure.....

If it matters, there have been no posts so far except for a graduating student trying to sell her books.

Declined my offer yesterday. It was a SUPER difficult decision, especially after receiving a generous scholarship and getting an invite to their HEA scholars program. I have decided to go UNC's regular BSN program. Bittersweet, but excited for someone else to hopefully get off the waitlist!!

Congratulations! I was hoping you could help me by answering a question.

I've been looking into the program, and wondered if I have to put in two applications. One for the nursing program and another for Duke?

It might be a silly question. I just know that many programs require that. But under the admission requirement section it asked for ACT/SAT scores. & i'm not sure If that applies to me.
