Dui and nursing employment

This is so embarrasing but when I was 19 I got a DUI(young and dumb) but anyways its been like seven years since then and I dont know if I should persue a nursing degree because will the hospitals even hire me with a DUI? Im so concerned I want to be a nurse so bad but I dont know if this will affect me in the future and they wont hire me. Please Help Thankyou

Follow your muse.....As long as you haven't had any other problems you should be ok. Make sure you are honest about the DUI to the BON so you are absolutely straight on the integrity part of being honest and accountable for your actions.
