Hi

I've never been good with maths and so I was wondering about drug calculations, do you have to do them in your head or is it normal to use a calculator?

Hi emmy,

Im like u I was never good at maths either :crying2: . A nurse who I have been asking for advice and such put me onto a really good and informative book called - Nursing Calculations by JD Gatford and N Phillips. Its really helpfull and has heaps of information along with exercises u can do at home. It might be worth a look at. Also some body else said practise your times tables.HELLO :imbar WHAT WAS I DOING WHEN I WAS AT SCHOOL! As my mother said I went only to socialise :rotfl:

Its amazing what u forget. You can get this book for any major book store. I got mine from Angus & Robertson ( Sydney ).
