Dried blood spot test

Do any of you do the dried blood spot test regularly? Rate of false positive tests? How often could it be done? Painful? Surprised it's not done more often.

I just posted this on another thread. We have to do a blood draw, but if they can find same thing from a prick I would prefer that instead

I'm looking into this for myself now. I'd appreciate any insight from others. My only concerns are that "they " won't allow it or false positive tests.

Our monitoring agency has over to finger prick DBS tests for peth and can detect like 50 other drugs.  I read the online studies which show the finger prick DBS is just as good as using whole blood, and way more convenient.  My monitoring agencies and I think all of them, do not believe there are false positives for this test.

Just look up recent board stories and you'll see if you test positive for Peth on a finger prick (above 20ng), you're gonna be in for it.

I get a DBS after a long vacation in an area where I'm not able to check-in on Recoverytrek or be able to test (like a cruise or camping out west with no internet).

Able to detect alcohol anywhere from 5-30 days depending on how much you used.
