Drexel or York College graduates thoughts on CRNA program?

I am wondering if there are any Drexel or York College CRNA students or graduates out there that could give me their opinions on the programs as far as quality and distribution of work load. I live in the Hershey area so any information regarding clinical sites would be great too!

I'm not in either program but I know people who are currently in and completed both. Drexel has many sites to pick from, including my facility. Yorks program is primarily in house with some outsourcing for a few specialties (I cant remember which). Drexels program is good, I myself would have gone to this program but I just cant stretch it with life commitments (kids, house, no-work etc). I work with several drexel grads and we get student SNRA's all the time. Overall its a good program but to be honest, I dont know many that aren't. They are all super competetive. Work load is similar among both programs.

Also look into Pitt and VCU if you dont mind relocating for school I dont know your situation but those two schools are fantastic.

Thanks for the information. I am also a parent to a daughter and 5 step kids. Thankfully I have the full support of my husband to do this and we are able to survive on his income while I am in school. I am trying to find a program that will be the most "family friendly" for my situation. Drexel has the ability for students to take some on the core courses online which I like. Did you find a program that worked for your situation?

I ended up not doing the program but not for lack of the programs credentials. It doesnt make financial sense to me. I have two children, mortgage, etc. I'm my families main source of income. Drexel is now DNAP based so you're also facing another year + of school cost and no work. They do have the ability for some didactic portions to be taken online with a few times per year you need to travel to philly for a week or so for sim lab. You'll have to do an opportunity cost but if you can make it off of your husband I'de give it a shot. Good luck to you! Drexel is probably your best bet for flexability.
