Hey @SocialButterflyNurse, I got another interview invite today from another school. I am so excited. Interview coming up on April 23rd. I hope we hear something from soon.

OMG I'm so jelly! But super excited for you! Where at?

I can't apply to many schools yet.

At La Salle. I am a La Salle nurse grad from 2020. I loved the school and the amazing school of nursing. 😊

Oh okay! I heard the new program there is wild! they don't have a sim lab, and they don't have the teachers. My friend is in their program now but that's when it was the Tournetta program. Tournetta is done with Lasalle after her class graduates.

That program is  going through a rough rebuilding stage right now.

another friend of mine declined her offer after doing the tour! 😕 I was going to apply until I heard the bad news.... hopefully things have changed in the last 6 months. Tell me how it goes for you wishing you the best of luck

Hey @CoreyAlan1 I also received an invite today to interview at La Salle! I haven't been able to find much about the program online which worries me a bit. I'm still excited to interview though!!

@SocialButterflyNurse what do you mean by they don't have a sim lab or teachers? Could it be that maybe the program was still in the early phases when your friend interviewed? 😩

Trying not to get my hopes up too much so I'm not so disappointed LOL

I saw in a Reddit group they didn't have any supplies or equipment in their sim labs and no teachers to teach for the semester that just started in Jan. And my friend said the sim lab was empty.

They have a new director I think his name is Chris?

this could be old news now. But my friend applied, interviewed and they offered it to her and she declined it. And now she's applying to other schools.

I was  told the Tournetta program was bought by Thomas Jefferson and the old director doesn't want to give them his curriculum or instructors so Lasalle created their own program.

it's a small world! Ask around. I even asked my mentor about it from Penn and she said it's just going through a rough rebuild stage and that she would give it some time before applying.

I am going to see for myself before I make an informed decision. They have had a stellar rep in the city for years now. I think Kost is giving some of his info to LaSalle to pass on the legacy instead of giving it to Jefferson. It will be a tough decision for me. I went to La Salle for undergrad, and loved it. It was so individualized and structured. I think given a chance, it will be the very best. I am hoping that will email very soon. I am getting so anxious, but at least I know I have one interview. I am just excited to be to this point really! I've worked so hard as a CICU nurse. I'm ready. 😊

You're going to do great!! God got you! I just wanted to give you guys a heads up! Let me know if all that stuff isn't true. Because I'll definitely apply! Good luck with your interview ❤️

Hey everyone. I finalized my application 04/04. I had no idea about this 03/31 deadline; my application says Spring 2025 and the website says rolling admissions. I wonder if I will even be considered for Spring 2025 now.
