Drexel online fnp msn 2018

Nursing Students NP Students

Published

I have being searching for topics on ONLINE MSN FNP 2018 and I could not find any. I decided to open a topic.

How is the program like? I currently do not have anyone in the program and I just need more information on how it runs. I would really appreciate any and all input.

PS. I applied and I am still waiting to hear back.

Thanks so much for the input! I will definitely stay in contact with you as I found out that I have been accepted to the program. I'm super excited!

Is it okay if we stay in touch? I found out I just got accepted to the program and I'm super excited!

@Gbest529 there are forums on Facebook that you can follow for more info too. Despite I declined the acceptance because of the 56credit in total as compared to others that are 40 credits, I heard its a good program.Post any question you have on here whenever. Even if I am not in the program I can ask around. I am in lots and lots of nursing forums it just keeps me in the loop.lol

I think it seems like more credits because it's on a quarter system instead of semester system. There's a credit conversion on the site but of all the programs I've applied for, it takes the same amount of time and is the same amount of classes just about. Thanks so much for your feedback any insight is appreciated. Thank you! Did you apply elsewhere boujeebarbie?

I am still researching on programs...but I know for sure it will be a brick and mortar program, I like the feel of inclass and getting to talk and interact with other people.

Nursefairy6,

I'm finishing up my BSN online at , and plan to apply to their Fall 2019 FNP cohort. Their online RN-to-BSN program has been a good experience. The application deadline is June 1st, so I'm already lining up my recommendations, personal statement, etc. I just wish it wasn't so darn expensive!

Anyway, good luck to you!!!

@FloNoche81,

That's great to hear! Congrats on finishing your BSN! Will you start working before applying into the 2019 cohort? Keep us posted on your application! Hope to hear good news from you come summer of 2019 :) Good luck!

I start the Pediatric Dual Primary and Acute Care program this fall, looking for anyone starting this fall or is already in the program to connect with! I'm most nervous about setting up my own clinicals as I live near 2 very large academic medical centers that have NP programs, so there are a lot of student NP's in my area.

I am starting the AG-PCNP program in the fall as well. Congrats! I'm sure we will figure out placement when the time comes

Actually I've been an RN for 9 years; it took me almost a decade to take the leap. I work part-time now, but I can't imagine working full-time in NP school.

RNbannanie,

I'm in the primary care PNP program. I started last fall. I'd be happy to answer any questions! I haven't gotten into the clinical portion yet so I won't be much help there though. I'm also a bit nervous about finding clinicals, but I've been pretty impressed with so far!

I'm pretty new here so I don't know if there is a way to private message, but I'd love to hear your opinion on your professors for Nurs 500 and Nurs 502. I register tuesday and have been looking at rate my professor but I'd love to hear from someone who recently took the classes and I have a few questions just about online learning. I'm 12 years out of school so it's been a while!!!!
