Drexel NP anyone?

Published

I was just accepted to my first choice nurse practitioner school (Drexel University). Anyone attend one of their NP programs? I am looking for feed back. I am so excited I am accepted. Thank you!

I got accepted to their PMHNP program starting this fall. I'm really excited about it. I was accepted to a few schools but I am going with Drexel because it has a good reputation and board pass rate is 100%. I spoke to someone who is in the Drexel PMHNP program and she said it was a very good program and very doable for someone working full time. I can't wait to start.

Thanks for getting back to me! I really love the mostly online format. I am actually expecting my first baby too, so plan on cutting down to per diem if I can. Their 100% pass rate is amazing and one of the factors that drew me to Drexel.

I am in the PNP Program. Going into my second year!

How do you like it?

As far a courses go I like it a lot so far. I am nervous about managing clinical and working, however my biggest complaint is the advising. It seems like the advisors have no idea what is going on. It is very stressful. Also they make you do a bunch of things for clinical compliance WAY before you even start clinical which is frustrating. So coursework and the material is great, however the administration needs to get their stuff together
