Drexel ACE spring 2016

U.S.A. Pennsylvania

Hi all, I want to apply to ACE 11 months program for spring 2016. I'm currently taking A&P I and Statistics this spring, I still have 4 more prerequisites left which I plan to take during 2 summer sessions.

Is it better to apply early with less prerequisites or apply later with more prerequisites done?

If I apply in May, I will have 4 more classes left, but if I apply in July, I will only have 2 classes to take.

My GPA for undergrad is under 2.8, but it's 3.3 for last 60 credits. My GPA for prerequisites is 3.8

Congrats on getting in! I'm interested in connecting with others who planning on attending ! Feel free to PM if you want to chit chat! I'm not from the area so would love to connect with others

Hi all-

Congrats to those who got in. What were your GPAs(undergrad and prereq) and also when/where did you graduate from?

Hi! I have a BA in Psych with a 3.45 and my Prereqs were all A except for one C! I am still in the process of taking two prereqs this summer!

Specializes in ICU.
Hi all-

I graduated from Temple University with an accounting degree 3.75

My prereqs GPA is a 4.0

I have Chem and micro left to complete

Me too! I'm very excited to start in the spring. It's not here fast enough.

Wilmington University Middle Level Education with 3.8. PreReqs 3.6

Hey all- I just got in yesterday and I applied on May 27th. I applied for the fall cohort originally, but wasn't done my prereqs before the class filled up.

Hey! So I just found out I got waitlisted and am only waiting to finish my last Pre-Req - Micro. I don't know if anyone was waitlisted or if anyone knows if that is comparable to being on hold or...worse! Any advice would be appreciated :)

Hmm I'm not sure about other people's experience. I was wait listed for the fall entry and eventually they withdrew me from consideration. Then I reapplied for spring and got in. Did you call and bug them? I had them waitlist me for the sprig too and I called and asked why. I asked them to reconsider based on my current grades because I wasn't submitting summer prereqs.

I emailed (MODERATOR EDIT OF NAME) yesterday to ask about the nature of the waitlisted and told them that I would be submitting my micro grades when I'm finished next month!

Awesome! I hope we're future classmates :)

I have my bachelors but I applied as a transfer student to 's nursing program. I also got in. Are you going to be living at school or commuting?

I wil most likely be getting an apartment in Philadelphia within walking distance of campus.

I will also be attending the Information Session on August 1 for accepted students.
