Drexel ACE spring 2016

Hi all, I want to apply to Drexel ACE 11 months program for spring 2016. I'm currently taking A&P I and Statistics this spring, I still have 4 more prerequisites left which I plan to take during 2 summer sessions.

Is it better to apply early with less prerequisites or apply later with more prerequisites done?

If I apply in May, I will have 4 more classes left, but if I apply in July, I will only have 2 classes to take.

My GPA for undergrad is under 2.8, but it's 3.3 for last 60 credits. My GPA for prerequisites is 3.8

Hey Hl0016, I am in the same situation, except I have not started taking any prerequisites yet. I am taking 3 classes this summer and will finish the rest of the required courses in the Fall(if I get accepted). I went ahead and applied early (1st week of March). I am currently taking a CNA course so I can work while taking prereqs and to show Drexel that I am serious about Nursing. I'm not sure if it will work but I sure hope so because the ACE Program is my first choice1. Background: I have a Bachelors in Political Science and graduated with a 3.3. Good luck to you!

I finished that program a year ago. I had most of my prerequisites done when I applied but was in the middle of the one class when I applied. I was accepted but under the condition that the class I was working on was completed and they also wanted me to retake a chemistry class I had taken with a previous degree that I thought would work (it didn't have a lab component though which was required). Because you have to apply a year before (ex by April 2015 for the Spring 2016 cohort) I had plenty go time to take a new chem class. I just had to send updated transcripts before the program actually started.

I applied for Spring 2016 also!

I was wondering, on the application it shows Spring '15-'16---- Even though the program starts 2016, correct?

I applied with and only need to finish Developmental Psychology and Human Nutrition, which I am registered for the summer. Hopefully I can get in! From what I have read in the past post, it seems that they want to see atleast a few of the science prereqs done. But I would think that it is good to call and see if you should apply early and just send them updated transcripts or wait until maybe after summer courses! Fran is extremely kind and helpful!

Hey yall! I was accepted this morning!

I also applied for the spring 2016 term at the end of March! congrats to your acceptance ! when did you apply?

Any advice you'd want to share with those of us considering the program?

I finished my application the first week of March!

I asked about that as well! It technically the 2015-2016 school year, but it does start Spring 2016 so that's why it says 2015-2016! @perfectversec

Thanks :)

Haven't heard back yet! Hoping to hear soon!

hi! I completed my undergrad at rutgers and for my stat requirement I took "quantitative methods in psychology." this course included all statistic concepts taught in a normal stat class but was psychology based. do you guys think it will be a problem that the course is not "general stat"? should I call the school and ask ?

I took psychology statistics also! My course was "Stats in Behavior Sciences", most schools have told me that it fulfills the requirement!

oh good! i emailed the school so hopefully they can confirm.

has as anyone heard back yet ? it's been over a month since they started reviewing I'm getting nervous !
