Drexel ACE fall 2015

U.S.A. Pennsylvania

Hi all!

I just submitted my application for Drexels ACE fall 2015 program and was curious if anyone else has applied or heard back from admissions?

I have a 3.1 cGPA and around a 3.4 sGPA, is this considered competitive with past applicants?

Also, how is everyone planing on paying for this-I understand it's pretty pricey and aid packages aren't close to covering it...

Best of luck!

My application now says on hold. What does this mean?

It could mean they need more paperwork, or possibly that they are waiting to get your grades from prereqs?

When did you submit your application?

I just called them and they said it's common for the fall so that they can see your spring prerequisites and the grades!

I submitted my application September 8 I think

Wow so did they say anything else, like about whether there will be spots open in December when fall prereq grades come out? Knowing in advance helps plan out prereq schedule. I think a lot of us work full time and definitely have to time out when we're taking classes based on an acceptance decision.

He didn't say. I was wondering the same thing. It's somewhat flawed because they do admission review almost a year in advance so a lot of people are going to be finishing up their courses during that time.

Exactly, so it would make sense that most people applying to ace would have less prereqs done. People with more of them completed when applying would probably want to start closer to the application date.

I agree. Is your application also on hold?

No it's still got the whole thing about being complete and under review with no decision. But I'll most likely be in the same boat as you.

I bet a lot of people are! It's frustrating but hopefully it doesn't hurt our chances of acceptance!

On the positive side, they're looking closely at the application materials?

Hey, congrats on your acceptance! I've just been accepted as well!

I'll be graduating from Penn State in the spring and I'm still waiting on several schools, but 's program has really stood out to me.

Where do you think you'll be living next fall?
