Hi All,

I'm just starting this topic to bounce ideas and opinions about this new program: ACE 24 (24 month program) that will have its first cohort for Fall 2014. Anyone who knows more about it please share.

Thanks,

Musing 2014

Hey did you email to say you wanted info on the program or you said you wanted tobe considered for it?....

Just got an email that the ACE 11 month program is closed for fall; decisions should be released for the ACE24 by end of next week!

Hey guys I just got a notification that I was accepted to the 24th month program today! Did anyone else find out yet??

when did you respond?

I haven't, lol....congrats...checking right now

WOW....just checked the status and I was accepted ....now I am totally conflicted....because I am also accepted into the direct entry msn program at seton hall

Guys is it on the discover portal??

Congrats to you both!!

Just checked..... I was accepted as well!!!!

Hey bluebell2014,

personally, if I were you I would go for the direct-entry masters program.. it's what 3 years?

I also applied to Case Western University's direct-entry program and if accepted, I will most likely go there.

It's up to you on what you want to get out of the nursing field. Personally, I think my ultimate goal is to practice as a nurse practitioner.. so getting into a direct-entry program that would enable me to be that will be my top pick. I haven't heard from Case yet, nor will I for at least another month, so I'm thrilled just to be accepted into something :yeah:

But.. congrats on being accepted to both!

yeah congrats....rkt49....now the job hunt is on.....anyone living on campus?

rkt49.....thanks....many factors...contributing to me going to ...one I have a family...a 4 yr old...2) already have a master's in public Health....3) my family is only 1/2 hr away from drexel...and 4) it's less expensive....the MSN in 2 years and the track is CNL...which i'm most likely gonna have to take a staff RN position first.......its 2 hrs away and the cost is monumental.....after drexel I can go back and do BSN-DNP...and specialize if I wanted to do that....I would most likely do a pediatric NP or Psychiatric nursing...so...I understand your point.....but...IDK...

I got my acceptance on the Discover portal today.
