Hey Guys,
I’m just here to remind Douglas College students who want pursue Nursing and are not yet offered an acceptance for Fall 2021 to apply tomorrow, February 1, 2021 for Winter 2022.
Let us not be worried about our waiting. Instead, let us utilize our time for other productive activities that can better prepare us for our careers ahead.
Best of luck to everyone!

Hey is this your 2nd time applying for the BSN? Yeah cause I heard from most of my friends who are nurses now. It took them usually 3 attempts in applying to have finally get an acceptance. If you don't mind me asking ?

I think this would be my third time applying, I applied for Winter 2021, then Fall 2021, and then Winter 2022.

Hey Everyone,
I finally received an email response regarding the admissions for the BSN program. They told me that it is 2 and a half years waiting for us to receive a conditional seat offer. Image attached is the email response.
For me, I am planning to apply to any health related program (work-wise and program wise) so that I may be further prepared for the future.
To those who just finished last year, let’s keep our faith and prepare ourselves for a healthier world. GO NURSES!

Based on what I read on the admission requirement:
Effective Winter 2019 - Those students who are accepted to and complete the Academic Foundations for Potential Nursing Applicants program will receive priority admission to the BSN. Applications will be pooled based on semester of completion of admission requirements. Of the students who completed in the same semester, those students in the Academic Foundation program will receive higher admission priority than those who are in a different program.
I wonder when everyone else had their last prerequisites done?
Hey sorry for the late reply!
yes I was already in the AF program when I finished my pre reqs
Fyi, this was from rosemary:
Qualified applicants who are receiving conditional seat offers are applicants who completed in the Fall 2019 term with a GPA score of 3.30 and higher and in earlier terms.
So anyone finished their reqs in fall 2019 or thereabouts will be accepted I guess..?

I only got accepted into the fall 2021 academic foundation but I finished my pre-reqs in Summer 2020. So IDK if I would be considered into this Winter 2022 intake.
