Douglas College Fall 2021

I finished my prereqs during Summer 2018 and just applied for this intake. I wanted to make a thread for those who applied to Douglas' Fall 2021 program!! 

 

Also has anyone else's requirement section of their application been updated yet?

Yeah mine says the same thing. I guess it's taking them a lot longer to go through the applications. Hopefully we get news soon!

Mine still says "Incomplete items outstanding" LOL

LOL, just gotta keep applying. I just wish they let us know what's going on. I just saw that the the intake for Winter 2022 is opening in February and I'm going to apply for that as well.

My application is still pending review ? Updates would be nice though.

Same here, I've already completed the foundations program at the college in 2018 so I expected that the classes needed would be on file already and that a decision would be made prior to Jan. This is getting a bit ridiculous

I’m also starting to get a little impatient now. I’m really hoping that we will know decisions before the next intake opens up, but most likely that probably won’t be the case. This is frustrating ?

Hey did you apply for the Winter 2021 intake? I heard that all the applicants who finished the reqs in Winter 2019 and earlier were accepted to Winter 2021 intake... Is this your first time applying?

No, I did not apply for Winter 2021. Yes, it is my first time applying.

The advisors told me this intake should be guaranteed for people who finished during that time. I finished mine Summer 2018 and it's my first time applying in a while. Last time I emailed them about our applications, and they said that they're really behind due to Covid ? 

 

Has anyone emailed admissions recently?

I've emailed them recently about it. But they told me to email ----------------------- for more details. I've emailed her but I haven't gotten any reply though... I guess they're really busy with the applications. ?‍♀️

My application updated, and it now says "Decision made, offer made-outstanding items" What about everyone else?
