Hi there,
feel like this is dumb question but, why are steroid doses lower at night than in the morning? Was asked this by a NP clinical instructer. Only thing I can find is possible insomnia. Is that all?

yes, but....dont you love that.......think of the normal ebb and flow of endongenous hormone....higher in am lower in pm.......

giving steroids in the a.m. mimics the body's natural release of hormones.
