What are you guys doing for dopamine these days? Are you using premixed solutions or are you using the rule of 6?
If you are using premixed solutions, what is the concentration? Do you have a chart that you go by to know your drip rates or are you still doing the math or both?
Thanks

I believe our standard dopamine concentration is 1.2 mg/ml, which comes from the pharmacy in 60 ml syringes. We have syringe pumps that have libraries which contain all the standard concentrations and formulas for meds like dop/dob, morphine, etc. We plug in the baby's weight and the dose, like 5 mcg/kg/min, and the pump figures out the rate for us, which of course we then have to double check.
