done with NCLEX!

I've been reading everyone's posts for the past several months while I anxiously waited for my turn. Well it came and I finally got that "pass"message written next to my name.

I graduated December '12, tested for the first time March '13 and did not pass. So a friend asked me to try out Kaplan and for the past 3 months I've done all Kaplan tests, q'banks, classes as well as continued reading Saunders.

I would take a Kaplan test and go back and read every single question, rationales and the wrong answers, I would search Saunders for the answers. I would sometimes do between 300-500 questions a day, would take 3 days off and go back at it again.

Day before the test, I did 500 questions, scanned my Saunders book and up 'til 10:30 p.m. that night, I listened to Kaplan's lectures on line. I know they say day before rest, but I wanted it all fresh on my brain for the next day.

That morning, I got to the center, said a prayer and sat there in front of that computer and thought "I'm at home doing Kaplan" I took several brakes, washed my face in between and kept on going.

I'm blessed to have passed. I wanted to share my story with you all, as I have read many stories and I gained the confidence to say I can do the same. So please don't give up, keep working hard, your turn will be soon. Good luck to you all!
