Dominican University of California Spring 2022

Anyone applying to Dominican University of California for their BSN? When do we send in transcripts? Is it after we submit our application or before?

Nothing yet! Excited yet will be a bummer if I don't get accepted since the school had asked me to take CHEM 11 

Same, no change. A friend of mine said that she got her answer last October on 29th.

*If a student is transferring to Dominican University, and intends to apply to the BSN Program, at  the Elizabeth T. MacNeil School of Nursing, he or she will be required to take CHS 260 prerequisite course during the Summer prior to fall admission. A grade of B- or higher must be earned in CHS 260 for the student to progress in the BSN program.

I got an email Nov 1st we should hear back !

I don't think it is the same school, is this school in California?

Did they randomly just email you? Did they say that everyone going to get admission decisions at the same time? I’m getting nervous

Based on the other post I am not sure is the same school

because this school Elizabeth T. MacNeil School of Nursing is not in California.

Oh I see. Does anyone know when we will be hearing back? I went to Spring 2021’s nursing forum and they received their admission decisions on Oct 31 which is today I wonder if we are going to hear from them soon

Are you applying to other schools? Is it your first time applying? what have you heard about the Dominican program? Are you in the Bay Area?

Yes im in the Bay Area. I applied to 3 schools ( CSUEB, SFSU, and Dominican) and im about to submit my app for USFCA as well. I got rejected to CSUEB Bc I didn’t have enough optional categories like being bilingual, military vet, or being local. I haven’t heard much about the Dominican nursing program but I heard that it’s a great program. I also heard it’s 3 years long which sucks Bc more $$$

oh yes probably sorry I got it confused -  Elizabeth T. MacNeil School. Not in California. 

The email I got just says Nov 1 I will hear back. Nervous tomorrow!

Yes, it is very expensive! I did not take my TEAS yet, so I only applied to USF and Dominican. Good Luck! I hope we all get in somewhere!

Did you take the TEAS? how was it? very hard?
