Nursing Students School Programs

Anyone applying to Dominican University of California for their BSN? When do we send in transcripts? Is it after we submit our application or before? 

I have heard of Nightingale I know a girl who is going to start soon. Has anyone applied for USF Sacramento?

I applied to Dominican but I am interested in community college because of the cost.

Did you guys apply for FAFSA at Dominican? I know they give a merit scholarship, but it is still a lot. I have a friend that pays 15k a semester with scholarship.

yes, included it in my FAFSA

I am applying for USF sf. didn't get in the first time. Saw that you now need two personal statements ?

I do! She said yes it’s a 3 year program but she took advantage of the $20k scholarships/year I think she said.

Not yet, my friend said that her answer arrived at the end of October.

Oh no, I am sorry you did not get in the first time. 

I am applying there as well it is my first time, but I don't know about my changes since I have Microbiology in progress and not all my core classes.

I was waitlisted at USF the last application round. I also applied at Dominican University and was not admitted to the nursing program but was admitted to the school with $20k merit scholarship. 

I’m finishing my USF app but I saw that extra personal statement ?

did anyone else apply at Samuel Merritt? Or any state schools?

I only applied to two privates, USF and Dominican, because I did not take the TEAS yet.

Do you mind sharing your stats?

I applied at USF Sacramento and there was 2 personal statements and 4 prompts! I also applied for Dominican last cycle as well, I am hoping I get in somewhere this time. Hopefully we will find out soon if we were admitted or not.

Did you got the merit but not the FAFSA?

Fortunately, I always get financial aid but I declined my acceptance letter to the school before finding out how much the total cost would have been. 

There wasn’t any benefit of going to the school and not into the nursing program. Since they told me my application to reapply would be reviewed with the general application with everyone else. ?

Hey! I remember you from the last forum for Fall 2021. Did you end up taking the TEAS/HESI and applying to any of the state schools or SMU?

This youtuber (https://www.Youtube.com/c/TiffanyRNnicunursetiff) went to Dominican. Her boyfriend, who appears in her videos, also went to Dominican. She has a vlog about the school.

HI! Thank you for sharing! I watch her videos, I asked her to make one about her experience ? she said she will make one in the future.
