Hi, is anyone applying to the Spring 2023 cohort for DU California? I haven't submitted my application yet. Still waiting on my letter of recommendation. I heard there was no TEAS requirement (yay!). I still need to take the Chemistry requirement, other than that, I'm good to go. Deadline is September 1st.

Hi! I'm applying for Spring 2023 too. I had also applied for Fall 2022 but was rejected from the nursing program because I had organic Chemistry in-progress. However I was offered enrollment as an undeclared major with a scholarship but I didn't take it. 
 

What are your stats? Here's mine:

4.0 GPA (completed all my prereqs), hospice volunteering 2-4hrs/week since October 2021, 1 LOR, member of the Phi Theta Kappa honor society.

I am applying for Spring 2023 too!! I was also denied for fall 2022 likely because I had Physio in-progress.

Hello! I am also applying for Spring 2023, but I’m a little worried now bc I will be having health chem in progress :(

Hello everyone,

I just submitted my application for Sp23! I'm manifesting extra hard for this cycle haha! I got rejected from the program for Fall22 but got into the school for an undeclared major. If I get rejected again, I'm taking my TEAS end of September so I can apply to more programs. Good luck everyone! We GOT this! 

My stats: 3.8 GPA for prereqs, 3 letters of recommendation, 1.5 years experience as a CNA (nursing home, Peds unit, and currently hematology/oncology unit). I also took pharmacology and pathophysiology over the Summer, but I don't think they look at that =))

Hello! I’m one of the 11 transfers that got in for Fall 2022 semester and I know how hard pre-nursing and transferring is. I  was waitlisted before getting accepted, so in the future if you guys are in the same boat or just have any questions for anything let me know because I remember how often I used to check AllNurses.

Is anyone having trouble reaching out to --------------------------? I emailed him twice and asked him to transfer my letters of recommendation from the last application and he has not reached back to me ?

A few months ago he told me to email him in July as a reminder to move over my fall application to Spring. I did that twice but he never responded. However, I ended up checking my Penguin Portal out of curiosity and I guess he ended up doing it! He just never told me he did...Btw everything on my fall application ended up on the Spring one. So, if your LORs were already on your fall app, it would also be on your Spring app (assuming he moved it over).

Hey! Congrats on getting in for this semester! Do you know anyone who was accepted to the program with a prerequisite course in progress? This is my current situation and I’m a bit anxious :(.  I know you’re allowed to apply with courses in progress but IDK if that means anyone’s been accepted… :’)
