Anyone going here? I got accepted to the 1 year program, starts in May.
Hi Everyone!
I'm new to this forum and I was wondering if anyone was accepted to the ABSN 1 Year program in Dominican College after being waitlisted. I applied for the 2010-2011 program and have two more pre-reqs to finish. I just received a letter from them stating that my name has been placed on a wait list for the class of 2010-2011.
My stats are:
Undergrad gpa: 2.76
A&P I, II, Psych, Dev. Psych, Chem, Stats: A
Micro: B+
I'm registered this Spring for Biochem & will be registering to take the intensive Patho course this coming May. I'm really nervous because I was hoping to get into the program but I know my undergrad gpa and pre-req grades are not competitive.. Anyone had a similar situation but got into the program? Any insight/comments will be really appreciated!!
i wasnt put on any waitlist i was conditonally accepted pending the missing pre-reqs i still had to take, i was technically accepted to the school generally and when the pre-reqs are completed you then send ur info to the nursing dept and then you go from there and start the program i dont know the specifics because as i said i turned down dominican college. let me kno if i can be of any more help
Hi!
I was just accepted this week to Domincan's ABSN May 2010 program. Phew! I just paid my 300.00 deposit. We have to take a Basic Life Support class and pass of course before the actual nursing program starts. They mailed me the info with the acceptance letter.
I'm currently taking Biochem to finish the prereqs. I also signed up for the Weekend class of pathophysiology which starts at the end of Feb until April.
Good luck to all of you and congrats if you've gotten in. :)
Hi Rachel,
I'm sure you'll get in, yay!
The patho class starts this weekend. I have no idea if u can still register. Go to http://www.dc.edu and I'm sure the info is there.
Good luck!
