New York Presbyterian PHARM EXAM!
I'm sorry Kate. I was kind of in a hyper-nervous state when taking it, so I remember the drugs being the MAjOR and most common drugs of each class, with the exception of 2 or 3 being ones that I'd never heard of. If you only missed it by 1 question, you should pass next time! :) good luck Kate! :-)

New York Presbyterian PHARM EXAM!
I got a 90. That's low for me, lol, but who cares right? An 80 is all u need. I'm sure you will pass. I was nervous too, but remind yourself how many nerve wracking exams you've taken and passed! ;-) You will be fine! Best of luck but you won't need it. :-)

New York Presbyterian PHARM EXAM!
passed! math is a piece of cake. Pharm side effects/adverse is a little tricky but like everyone suggested, know the catagories and the main meds given in each one. There were a few I've never heard of, but the majority are well-known. You can do it! :-)

New York Presbyterian PHARM EXAM!
Hi RN Kate! Congrats! I am in the same boat as you, but unfortunately no one has sent me any study guide/med list as yet. I am just studying NCLEX review books and doing as many dosage/IV probs as I can find. Not sure what to expect either. Hopefully someone will be able to help out. Good luck and I'm sure you will pass! :-)

NLN - Basic Proficiency in Medication Administration
Hi and thank you! :redbeathe I will be at New York Pres. Thanks for the advice! I found out today that I will be taking the PEDS exam, so I'm really worried. My PEDS Pharm knowledge is very basic. I guess I'll read the PEDS sections of as many books as I can. I'm relieved that we can see what we got wrong and take it over if need be. But hopefully I won't need to do that. You've been a big help! Thank you! p.s. If anyone can offer any advice on the PEDS exam, I'd sure appreciate it! Good luck everyone!

Dominican College ABSN Program
Hi! I was just accepted this week to Domincan's ABSN May 2010 program. Phew! I just paid my 300.00 deposit. We have to take a Basic Life Support class and pass of course before the actual nursing program starts. They mailed me the info with the acceptance letter. I'm currently taking Biochem to finish the prereqs. I also signed up for the Weekend class of pathophysiology which starts at the end of Feb until April. Good luck to all of you and congrats if you've gotten in. :)

Dominican College ABSN Program
Hi! Thanks for all the helpful info about Dominican College. I too have applied, but for the class of 2010. Statistics is indeed a requirement. I'm also hoping that clinicals in NJ will be possible. How is everything going so far? I'm sure you're both very busy!
