I'm interested in travel nursing, but I prefer a PRN schedule. Any ideas?

Not sure I understand. Did you want to wake up in the morning and decide if you want to work that particular day? Or do you just want to have certain days off, like no weekends? The latter is possible for travel contracts. The former is not compatible with contract work which after all defines how much you are going to work and when. If true PRN is what you want, you will have to arrange your own travel and housing and go to cities and sign up with local agencies for PRN. Done!
Mind you, there are none of the tax benefits most travelers are eligible for. The pay may be better or worse overall to do PRN in a given market over travel, but it is my belief the pay is usually lower than for travel.
