Absolutey. Loads of people do it, in differing degrees. For example, an ICU nurse might do ICU at one place, and step-down at another. NICU nurses can do mom/baby and newborn. L&D nurses can do antepartum and often times, postpartum or mom/baby. It all just depends. I say go for it!!
