Does the Illinois BON accept NURSYS online verification?

I am a Florida RN in the process of applying for a Illinois RN license by endorsement. I have contacted the Florida BON to have them fill out the CT-NUR Form (Verification of Licensure). The FL BON directed me to the Nursys Online Verification site because they will not fill out the CT NUR form. Will the Nursys Verification be accepted by the Illinois BON in place of the CT NUR form?

well am not sure if they will or not...u will need to call IL BON to find out.....because my state Board (HI) did fill out the CT form when i applied a yr ago to IL.

Hi, I am also a FL RN applying for endorsement in IL. I emailed IL BON to ask if they participate in NURSYS, I never got a reply. On the NURSYS website IL is not listed so i figured that's a no. I just mailed the CT-NUR form to FL DOH with a $25 check and got the form back in a sealed envelope a couple of weeks later. I don't know why FL BON told you they won't fill out the CT-NUR form because they they will and they did for me. The instructions are right there on the site I posted. Good Luck. I've finally gotten all of my paperwork done and am about to mail in my application.

I wish I knew that information before I sent the forms today!! Thanks anyway. I called the ILL BON and said they accept the Nursys verification.

I have never got IL to support the Nursys program. Maybe it is different being that you arent in IL as your origional state. For me to get a licence in a different state than IL, I have to pay IL 20/ per licence for them to verify me.
