I would say that it depends on where you are from. As a new grad in IN I just started out at 21.75; so I would say it is pretty good. Is there a night and weekend diff? We get 3.75 from 7p-11p and 4 from 11p-7a; weekends an extra 5/hr. If you are planning on staying in the area after you graduate then I would probably do it--school is SO expensive!! I would recommend doing a job shadow for a shift before you take it so you will know exactly what to expect. Good Luck!
I worked at Mobile Infirmary for a few years until last year. When I started I got 19.25 right out of school, plus 3$ an hour shift diff. Now the shift diff is like 3.50 or 3.75 I think, so that would be like 26/hr for you if you wokred nights which is very decent for the area. Mobile Infirmary payed the highest hourly rates in that area when I graduated 4 plus years ago, I think they still do.

i am starting nursing school and a hospital wants to pay for my school. In return i have to work two years with them out of nursing school starting at $22 an hour. Is that a good wage for someone fresh out of nursing school?
