Does anyone recommend Prep-U?

Hi guys,

I am a little overwhelmed. I have taken the NCLEX twice and have failed.

I have used Saunders, Kaplan, and Exam Cram. So I am running out of material to study. I've read some of the forums about prep-u, but I really want to know if it has helped anyone pass.

I am in between prep-u and NCSBN 5 week program. So please help me out.

PS: I got up to 75 questions on the first test. I was very nervous and did not feel prepared. On the second test, I felt a lot more confident with the material and unfortunately, ran out of time at 257. Once I finished, I started crying because I knew the consequences of running out of time.

I don't know much about prep-U because I just bought the 2-year course online. I used NCSBN 5 weeks course and it was great for its price. I did not use their content b/c it was very overwhelming, but I did use their questions. They are similar to NCLEX, but I think Kaplan questions are way closer to NCLEX, but again I cannot say much b/c I did not pass on my first try. I am preparing myself for the 2nd attempt in August. Good luck :-)

prep u was required for our class. it is good and the only study material i used. passed in 75 no review class. it is just lippencotts questions. it is nice that it works on your phone anywhere you have wifi

newway How long did you use the program for? I am planning on retaking the test in the next 45 days.

from mid Feb. till June 17th when I took the Nclex

Do you really need a class or do you just need to do endless amounts of practice questions. I would say probably the latter.

My school recomended we ONLY do prepu to study for NCLEX

Told us once you reach a 7.0 level on it, that youre in excellent shape for the boards with a VERY high chance of passing

depending on the person thats likely roughly 4000-8000 practice questions

I didnt do that many, but havent taken my boards yet either
