Does anyone prepare for NCLEX by oneself?

Hello,

I live in Belarus and there is no any agency or preparation courses or even preparation materials.

I bought books thru internet and prepared and passed the Toefl by myself and now i'm preparing for NCLEX. Does anyone have or had the same situation and what was the end of the story?

I prepared for the NCLEX all by myself, using only the Saunders Q&A book. I did it, and so can you. Good luck!

i did my review by myself and i used Saunder's Q & A and NSNA.they are really the best.

I prepared by myself - Saunders, Lippincott, NCSBN review on-line & the Mosby on-line CAT test (just prior to booking the real thing to double check if I was ready enough). I did also go to the Kaplan 1 day live course &, although I think it was worth it, I have to say I passed the pre-test on it so my home preparation must have been good.

You can definitely do the preparation on your own - so go for it!!

I passed first time with 75 questions.

You only need one book, the Saunder's Comprehensive Review. It is the only book that I use in my program.

The Q and A is just that, it does not offer a review............and you need the resource.

I have done it by myself, using Saunders and Delmar. Saunders is better. You need to solve as much question as possible. If Belarus nursing education is as good as Soviet was, you do not need any resources. Feel free to PM or e-mail me

Saunders. Mosby CAT online just before the exam. Saunders was perfect, I just wanted to try the CAT before the exam.
