Does anyone know a good site to get RN CEUs for Psychiatric nursing?

Hi,

I am attempting to get Psychiatric nurse certified however I need to get 30 Ceu's does anyone know a good website for CEU's. The state board also came out recently saying that nurses have to have so many continuing education credits to renew your RN license. Can anyone help me:nurse:

I'd suggest registering at www.medscape.com.

They have hundreds if not thousands of hours worth of CEUs from accredited sources on every imaginable topic.

The American Psychiatric Nurse Association also has ceu's that are available online. Try the following :

Medscape is the way to go, definitely. They have a psych mental health nursing resource center, good info, articles, and free CEU's. Also, they keep the creditss for you to print out any time you need them.

RN.com has unlimited CEU's for a year for 19.99. They have quite a few psych topics and will also keep track of the CEU's. You print out your own certificates too. Good budget priced site for basic psych stuff. You can check out the topics before you join too. Good luck.

YES! "CE Direct" membership is free through some hospitals but you can sign on for $45 /year. ha an awesome 30 CEU course pre-approved by the ANCC and doubles as a great study / practice course for the exam. That same course is $70 in nurse.com.

nurse.com, netce.com and nursingcenter.com offer psych and addiction CEUs, but you usually have to hunt for them.
