Does anyone know of a Community College in CA that offers online A&P class w/lab?

I'm from CA and I"ve never seen an A&P class offered online. Besides, from what I've seen, most CA schools will only accept those classes if taken through a "Brick & Mortar" lab. Besides, those subjects are designed for actual hands-on learning. I think once you take them you'll appreciate the experience. :)

:) I totally agree...after doing some research and from all the friendly nurses and pre-nursing students on here...I did find there are accredited online science classes that offer a "hands-on" lab but most of the classes seem to be out of state (ex: Ocean County College or Rio Salado College). I finally came to the conclusion that, for me, I'd rather physically attend a science class here at a CC. As you stated, I want the experience :) Plus, in a weird way I just feel that I will also enjoy the class so much more if I attend in person :) :yelclap:

I'm glad you agree! I heard those classes are challenging, but you'll probably get so much out of it... perhaps even come out a brighter more disciplined student. That should only be a bonus since it'll prep you for your nursing degree.

Have you figured which schools you're going to by the way?

I'm in a similar boat in that I haven't taken these 2 courses yet. From what I've learnt from this board, the secret to doing well is: notecards, printed charts, and a white board for drawing pathways.
