Does anyone know why colleges have replaced the SAT with the TEAS?

idk why, but I'm thankful. I did pretty awesome on my SAT/ACTs...so [depending on the school] now I don't have to study or stress over the TEAS...nor do I have to pay for it :D

But, if you didn't do so great on those tests in HS I can see why that would be a bummer.

They didn't replace the SATs its just that if you're just starting college then they will use your SAT/ACTs in their admissions decision. The TEAS is specifically for health programs acceptance...as are the NET and HESI.

I forgot to mention that - at one of the school's I'm looking at the HESI is available, but if you have scores from the SATs that qualify then you don't have to take it. So, it doesn't seem that the entrance exams are being replaced altogether.
