I was recently placed on probation but have not been assigned a probation officer yet. The wait times for all of this are unacceptable! I'm desperately trying to get in touch with the probation department or office within the CA BRN so I can get some info!!

Unacceptable for whom?
First rule of Fight Club, I mean the BON/probation/monitoring, etc... The wait time is what they say it is. Get used to it... They don't get in a hurry for anyone or anything. If you are desperate for money, you'll have to get a regular job until they contact you. You can try places that will use your degree but not your license.

Been looking at this OP last couple of days and I have no words other than I know what you're going through. We all do. This will past. Hang in there. I agree with Persephone, no one in the BRN is rushing to help you. It's on their time.

If you have not started your probation terms please be prepared to do so 30 days after the terms and conditions come in the mail. If you do not have the financial means to do any part of the probation please get paperwork or documentation ready for your monitor as he/she do not care & is not considered an excuse. You will also be scheduled to meet with your probation officer in a face to face meeting and there she/he will explain each term and condition one by one. I am currently off of probation for my LVN but now waiting to see what the RN board want from me. Feel free to inbox me any questions. I wish you the best!!
