The Japanese government does not issue nursing licenses to Japanese nurses that trained out of their country, such as if they trained in the US or Thailand. They are unable to get a license to work in their own country, so seriously doubt that someone from the Philippines will be able to get a license when a Japanese is unable to do so. Also, if working there, it will be in a home setting, it will not be in a hospital at all. It will not be a license that will permit you to work in a hospital at all.
More like a home care nurse where you care for the person in their home.

PHILIPPINES AND JAPAN, DURING THE RENEWAL OF JPEPA, HAS SIGNED A TRADE PACT ALLOWING THE ENTRY OF PHIL. NURSES INTO JAPAN'S LABOR MARKET--SIGNING WAS HELD IN HELSINKI.
WITH THE RECENTLY HELD ASEAN SUMMIT IN CEBU, PHILIPPINES, JAPAN, TOGETHER WITH THE REST OF ASEAN MEMBER NATIONS HAS SIGNED AN AGREEMENT TO ALLOW NURSES TO WORK IN THESE ASEAN MEMBER COUNTRIES. REPORTS HAVE MENTIONED PASSING THE NURSE LICENSURE EXAM----IN JAPANESE AND SPEAKING JAPANESE LANGUAGE FLUENTLY.
HOWEVER, IN MOST RECENT REPORTS ON ASEAN SUMMIT, NURSE LICENSES FROM AMONG THE ASEAN MEMBER NATIONS WILL BE HONORED WITHOUT UNDERGOING THE NURSE LICENSURE EXAM OF AN ASEAN MEMBER COUNTRY.

I am going to check up on this Monday but isn't there even a remote possiblity that we get to transfer the credit to Japanese school and go from there? I know there was a Japanese nursing student and she went back to Japan, and was working on transfering credits so that she won't need to do all the classes all over again.Totally TIA. Your info on this forum is life saving
