I'm thinking of becoming a nurse but hate the sight of blood. I really don't like to see other people in pain.
I think I could just about cope with giving injections and cleaning up sick etc but would I ever have to work in A&E or go into theatre when training? Could I choose to work in a hospital instead?
OMG, I just answered the suctioning post. Walks like a duck, quacks like a duck, I think it's a troll. At least it's a funny one.
I've bumped into this individual on another forum and they've asked similar questions (though the suction one is a new one).
I'm not 100% sure that they dwell under a bridge tbh.

Theatres and A&E are found within hospitals and during your training you will have a placement in one or both of them. As mentioned blood and pain as well as patients requiring suction (see other thread) can be found in many different specialties so I really think you need to get used to what you don't like or look for something that is not nursing
