Do you need English and math courses to get into a nursing program

I took ENG 101/105 and Statistics but i've been looking at programs prereqs and none of them said there were any english or math courses needed. Did I take 3 courses for nothing then?

For my school's ADN program, you are required to have English 101 and an additional 5 credits of communication (I took English 102 for this, others took public speaking), as well as statistics before you can apply to the program.
