I failed A&P I - Need Some Advice
I failed AP my first semester and got an A with a different teacher the next semester. Research teachers and just take it again no big deal. At my school there isn't even a penalty for failing once.

Can I be discriminated against for political beliefs?
On facebook I have a habit of getting into discussions about the social aspects of politics. Im a conservative, I never use any racial epithets, never threaten violence and I use statistics to substantiate any claims I make. With that being said, conservative opinions are frowned upon today. With colleges and i'm assuming places of work being very liberal is there any way I could not be able to become a nurse because of me using my first amendment rights and expressing my beliefs?

Finding requirements for a program
First of all i'm one year in and fully committed to becoming a nurse. With that being said could someone please explain the difference between an ADN and a BSN. I understand that one is an associates and one is a bachelors but how would I go about getting into an bachelors program as opposed to one for an associates degree? Are there just more general courses like ENG/MTH/ etc. or are the courses NUR specific? With that being said are there any websites that I can find the specific course requirements for college programs that you need to have completed before you can apply? The websites for colleges in my area seem to be very vague and not at all specific. Most of them just give basic ENG and MTH courses along with Psych 101 along with Anat and Phys as their requirements which can't be right. Please help! The advisors at my school do their best but they're just teachers who were forced to do advising so they aren't very knowledgeable on these sorts of things.

Should I take Developmental Psychology online or in class?
Not going to advise you to go one way or another but i'll tell you my experience. Test every other week, article critiques (you just summarize 2 psychology articles and say whether they were good or not", paper at end of semester. This was the easiest class i've taken in college. I didn't take it online because it wasn't offered. I would say look ratemyprofessor and see if any of them have really high reviews. If not then take it online.

Is nursing school really "the hardest thing you've ever done in your life"?
Even if it wasn't that incredibly difficult WHICH IT IS it would probably still be the most difficult thing that the people have ever done. Ask yourself who is in nursing school. It's going to vary but generally they're made up of 19 year olds to people in their early 20's. What have people that young had to do that was that difficult?

Requirements for an associates program
I went to my advisor and told them I wanted to get into an associates program and asked what other courses I would need. The list they gave me was incredibly long; I would need 2 more semester of 5 classes each. I don't think they gave me what I was asking for. Here are the courses I currently have completed. A&P 1 and 2 Intro to Sociology Intro to Psychology Developmental Psychology HED Intro to Health and Wellness (Gym) Intermediate Algebra English 101 and 105 which is Intro to Literature HED Death and Dying Philosophy Western Religion (Humanities elective) With that being said to my own understanding the only other class I would need before I would have all of the requirements for basically any program would be microbiology, correct?

Do you think nurses get special treatment?
My mom got a speeding ticket on the way home after a 12 hour shift and was a bit upset when she got home. She said that if you have your scrubs on and you're on your way home cops generally will let you off the hook.

Do you need English and math courses to get into a nursing program
I took ENG 101/105 and Statistics but i've been looking at programs prereqs and none of them said there were any english or math courses needed. Did I take 3 courses for nothing then?
