My name is Lola. I graduated from Umass boston with my BS in exercise and health science. I got accepted in ABSN program I only finish 2 semesters there , balancing 7 classes per semester and 2 children and work was very hard .I couldn't stay at the program any longer due to 2 c- I got. My GPA is 2.6. Do I still have hopes to continue nursing ? This is very depressing for me.

i welcome any advice .. if anyone has a school in mind that I would get accepted please let me know . I live in Boston, Massachusetts.

thank you

Lola

See if any of the classes would transfer into an ADN program which might be more flexible. It is then very easy to go back and get BSN with your ADN and previous BS.

Accelerated programs are extremely rigorous. That's one of the reasons you will find AN'ers urging caution for folks seeking this "shortcut" to nursing. It's usually a better option to go at a slower and more manageable pace. Unfortunately, most nursing programs take a very dim view towards admitting anyone who has failed out of another program, especially if they are deluged with many more qualified candidates than they can handle. But hopefully, they will consider the difficulty of that accelerated program and give OP some slack in this case.

I agree! Thank you
