I have one semester left to finish in nursing, however I came to the States on a K-1 visa and I will have my green card in a month. If I finish my last semester in the Philippines after I get my green card, will I still need to take the board exam in the Philippines? Would it be possible to just return to the states and take the NCLEX and start working?
Best Regards

Yes, I believe so. You don't need to be licensed here to be able to apply for the NCLEX and VisaScreen. Just the transcripts and diploma will do.
Let's wait for Suzanne. :)

If you will already have a green card, then you will just need to take the NCLEX exam. But it also depends on which state that you will be working in, some do have a language requirement, such as Maryland and Massachusetts. Even if you hold a US passport, if you trained overseas, you will need to take the TOEFL series for those two states.
The Visa Screen Certificate is not required for you.
