I am still taking my pre-requisites in a community college but I have a bachelor degree from UNT. I will probably apply for nursing school next year but I would like to know if the classes that I took in UNT like micro and chemistry will get accepted in TWU.
Can they just check my transcripts or I need to apply and pay 30 dollars appliction fee?

If you go to the college of nursing website, there's an Equivalency List you can download and it shows what courses at various area colleges will count for the TWU prerequisites.

No, you don't have to pay an entrance fee just to get your transcripts checked. If that were so, then colleges would get really rich by doing that! Just go on the TWU website and click on the campus you want to enroll in. There should be an admissions counselor to help you, so you can fax your transcript to be evaluated.
Good luck!
I would like to know if anybody here got her transcripts checked by an advisor without applying for the nursing program in TWU (dallas location).
Thanks

Absolutely! If you feel the need to speak with someone one-on-one and in person, just call 214-689-6510, wait for the "advising" prompt, and a live person will schedule an information/advising appointment for you at the Dallas location. Usually, it is a "group" meeting where other students will be there with you to hear about the program, to learn what all is involved and what is necessary in order to apply. But if you know all about the B.S. program and just need advising, when you arrive, just let them know and they might let you just do the advising ahead of the others.
If you have any other questions about upper division classes or advising, PM me for another good contact at TWU-Dallas.

Teresa the advisor is great. She reviewed my transcripts and gave me advise on applying and actually gave me great hopes. Just email her and make an appoinmtment to talk to her
