Do a cna program over the summer or take pre-reqs for other nursing schools?

Published

I'm wondering if anyone has had any experience with Professional Career Instiute? I see they have a 6-week CNA program offered in the summer for $900. I can't find much information about them, I want to make sure they are legit. I'm currently a sophomore at VCU and I finished all the pre-reqs for the traditonal program last semester. I'm thinking about taking 3 classes at reynolds(math 126,SDV, and ITE115) so i can apply for their LPN/RN program for next year. Should I take those 3 classes in the summer for 5wks or take the CNA program for 6wks and start work after I get certified?

I would do the CNA course. 3 courses over a 5 week period sound stressful.

I did the CNA first. Then came prereqs.
